Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders with enthusiasm, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, managing food handling procedures, and supporting overall restaurant operations to ensure a smooth flow.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or a similar role within a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong skills in cash handling, basic math, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Previous restaurant experience or work in the food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality service standards.
