Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service and Parts Manager to lead our automotive service and parts departments with energy and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth through strategic upselling and effective team management. Your mechanical knowledge, dealership experience, and automotive diagnostics skills will be essential in maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance, repair quality, and parts inventory control. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the service department team, including service technicians and advisors, fostering a positive, energetic work environment focused on excellence.
- Oversee the parts department operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely ordering, and efficient parts distribution.
- Drive sales through proactive upselling of additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, and collision repairs.
- Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates and service writing documentation.
- Ensure all automotive diagnostics are performed accurately to identify issues related to engines, transmissions, suspension systems, or other vehicle components.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed, costs involved, and timelines; handle client inquiries professionally.
- Manage cash handling procedures responsibly while ensuring compliance with dealership policies.
- Monitor service technician performance in auto service management tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, shocks & struts replacement, and more.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency in service delivery and parts management.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role within an auto repair environment.
- Strong mechanic background with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension components, air brakes, shocks & struts.
- Familiarity with estimating software platforms and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services effectively while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership; adept at explaining technical issues clearly to customers.
- Prior experience in collision repair or automotive repair shops is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
