Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated CDA-Lead Pre-school Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the holistic development of young children. Your expertise in childhood development, behavior management, and early intervention will ensure each child's unique needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a leader in preschool education, you will inspire both children and staff to achieve their full potential while maintaining high standards of safety, learning, and child welfare. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and physical development among preschool children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and personalized behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special educational needs related to early intervention or special education.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and daycare staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality childcare and preschool experiences.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor child progress and inform instructional strategies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that supports childhood development and child welfare standards. Qualifications
- Certified Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a focus on early childhood education or preschool teaching experience.
- Proven classroom management skills with experience in toddler care, preschool settings, or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education as well as literacy education.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and tutoring techniques for young learners.
