Aras PLM Solution Architect
Location: Remote (United States)
Travel: 30%–50% (Client-facing travel as required)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aras PLM Solution Architect to lead enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives using Aras Innovator. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can bridge business and technology by leading discovery, solution architecture, implementation, and client engagement across complex manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate will possess a balanced blend of technical architecture and functional consulting expertise, enabling them to design scalable PLM solutions while guiding successful project delivery from concept through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and business requirements gathering.
- Design scalable enterprise solutions using Aras Innovator.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation strategies.
- Lead full lifecycle Aras implementations, upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Design integrations with ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
- Guide development teams on customizations, APIs, workflows, and platform extensions.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on during implementation.
- Support project planning, risk management, and successful project delivery.
- Present architecture recommendations and technical solutions to business and executive stakeholders.
- Travel to customer locations for discovery workshops and major project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Aras Innovator / Aras PLM.
- Proven experience designing enterprise PLM architectures.
- Multiple full lifecycle Aras implementations.
- Strong solution architecture experience across both technical and functional domains.
- Experience gathering business and technical requirements.
- Hands-on experience with configuration, customization, deployment, and implementation.
- Excellent client-facing consulting and communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional implementation teams.
- Minimum 5 years of consulting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, government, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.

- Enterprise system integrations
- PLM governance
- User adoption and change management
- Experience mentoring technical teams and solution architects.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
