Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Foreman specializing in Multifamily construction projects. In this dynamic role, you will lead and supervise electrical crews on multifamily residential developments, ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint interpretation, and team leadership will drive project success from start to finish. Duties
- Lead and manage electrical crews on multifamily construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using ProCore or similar software
- Oversee daily site operations, including supervising installation activities, managing crew performance, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication among team members
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and review construction drawings to ensure work meets design specifications and code requirements
- Manage subcontractor contracts, review change orders, and assist with construction estimating and budgeting processes
- Supervise safety protocols on-site by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; interpret electrical schematics using tools like an ohmmeter for troubleshooting
- Oversee construction schedule coordination across multiple projects to ensure timely completion of electrical milestones
- Manage procurement of materials including heavyBid estimates for electrical components; ensure proper inventory management on-site
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or supervisor within multifamily or commercial construction environments
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent tools
- Strong background in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent supervisory skills in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and electrical plans accurately
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety management aligned with OSHA standards and federal regulations
- Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques including project scheduling and schedule coordination across multiple trades
- Experience supervising subcontractors, managing contracts, reviewing change orders, and overseeing quality control measures
- Knowledge of electrical systems installation in multifamily residential projects including conduit runs, wiring methods, circuit breaker panels, lighting systems etc.
- Ability to operate testing tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues effectively
