Westwood Venture, LLC is looking for a part time Office Assistant to work at the Main Street Mini Storage office at 4300 Main Street, Springfield OR 97478.
This position will open for training ASAP. This is a part time position. Starting pay is $18/hour.
For the position of Office Assistant, we are looking for an individual with the following skills:
· Able to multitask
· Strong people skills/customer service skills
· Able to work independently as well as be part of a team
· Capable of performing a variety of office work tasks
· Legible hand writing and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Additional computer skills a plus.
· Cash handling experience; basic math skills
· Legible handwriting
· Able to show up on time
· Reliable transportation
· Able to keep information confidential
· Able to follow the chain of command and follow directions given to them
· Willing to ask questions, good communication skills
The duties of the Office Assistant include but are not limited to:
· Renting units and completing paperwork
· Taking payments, preparing deposits, balancing accounts daily
· Answer phone, greet customers, collect rents and fees
· Detailed recordkeeping on hand-written ledgers as well as on the computer
· Sending notices to tenants abiding by state lien laws and procedures
· Assist the manager with monthly auctions for storage units: advertising, scheduling, preparing paperwork and overseeing auction activity
· Capable of working within the storage complex, ex: opening storage unit doors, walking the facility grounds
