Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join our team providing essential support to adults with special needs. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy, excellent observational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to vulnerable adults. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper safety protocols are followed during transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living spaces
- Document patient observations accurately and communicate changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Assist with specialized care such as Downs Syndrome, TBI, Autism, etc
- Support residents in clinical campus setting by implementing personalized care plans
- Engage in patient monitoring to ensure safety during activities and provide emotional support
Qualifications
- REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
· 6 months of paid caregiving and/or C N A experience
· High School Diploma or GED. Need a copy.
· TB test that is either a 2 step or QuantiFERON (blood test)
· Ability to pass a 10 panel drug test and a nationwide criminal background check
· Professional references that can validate your caregiving experience
We are hiring for 2 shifts (3-11/11-7) where you will work every other weekend as part of your schedule.
The hourly rate is $16.00 and overtime is allowed.
Your paid and mandatory orientation will be July 13/14/15/16/17/18/20. 8-5 hours.
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
