As a new Assistant Center Director, you will benefit from the wisdom and support of experienced Center Directors in our organization.
What We’re Looking For
A Mathnasium Assistant Center Director must have strong interpersonal, leadership, customer service, and organizational skills, as well as confidence and a professional, friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate would also have management experience and enjoy math. The Assistant Center Director serves as the secondary, at times the primary, point of contact for our customers, one of the direct supervisors for our instructors, and a guiding force behind our students’ learning goals. A partial list of responsibilities includes:
· Support the daily operations of one or multiple centers
· Complete Center Director training with the goal of becoming a Center Director
· Assess and enroll new students using our processes and paperwork
· Create and manage student learning plans using verbal and written math assessments
· Ensure a safe, effective, fun, and engaging learning environment for students
· Assist Center Director in managing a team of instructors to deliver excellent instruction using the Mathnasium Method
· Build professional relationships with students and their parents by providing superior customer service that results in student retention
· Participate in ongoing training to become an expert in the Mathnasium Method
· Complete other administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the learning center
Why should you become a Mathnasium Assistant Center Director?
· Part-time hourly position averaging 20-25 hours per week
· Schedule may include afternoons, evenings, and some weekends
· Compensation starting at $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth
· Extensive training in our methods
Job Requirements
· You must be available to work some weekends during the school year
· You must be willing to complete a background check
· Experience with children in grades 1-12 preferred
Management experience preferred
