Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Project Supervisor to support the Senior Accounting Manager and project management team. This role is responsible for coordinating accounting and operational projects across multiple distribution centers, tracking budgets and equipment deliveries, supporting audits, and working with internal teams and outside vendors.
The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, project coordination experience, and knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate accounting projects with local teams and distribution centers.
- Communicate project requirements, timelines, and follow-up items.
- Work with vendors regarding equipment, orders, and deliveries.
- Manage special requests for the Accounting and Administrative departments.
- Assist with distribution center audits and process-compliance reviews.
- Update project budgets and track equipment deliveries.
- Complete software-based tasks and update procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates.
- Travel to multiple distribution centers as required.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related accounting, administrative, or project coordination experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-up.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple projects.
- SAP accounting experience preferred.
- Experience using an MRP manufacturing system preferred.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to work in a distribution center with varying temperatures.
