Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at our newly built, state-of-the-art mail order pharmacy — a modern facility with employee-friendly amenities.
This is a 100% mail order, closed-door pharmacy: no walk-in patients, no retail counter, no front-end. Instead of face-to-face dispensing, you'll work in a high-volume production environment supported by automated dispensing technology, where accuracy, throughput, and consistent workflow discipline drive everything we do. Patient communication is handled by phone and secure messaging through our third-party contact center, so your day stays focused on verification and clinical work rather than the interruptions of a retail counter.
The ideal candidate brings extensive pharmacy experience and thrives on volume. You'll own final verification, DUR and clinical review, and prescriber outreach — making sure every prescription leaving our facility is right the first time, because there's no counter for a patient to come back to.
The incumbent is expected to set an example for other employees through professional conduct and by safely performing all assigned tasks to predetermined standards, and to report any violations of company policy and procedures to management. This person will be someone who enjoys change and gets into the details to drive improvement every single day.

Responsibilities
- Perform final verification on high volumes of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriber orders, state and federal regulations, and internal quality standards.
- Complete drug utilization review and clinical assessment, identifying interactions, therapeutic duplications, dosing concerns, and opportunities to optimize therapy.
- Conduct prescriber outreach to resolve clarifications, prior authorizations, and therapy changes.
- Provide clinical consultation and counseling to patients by phone and secure messaging, coordinating with our contact center team.
- Work fluently in pharmacy management, EMR, and EHR systems to document clinical interventions, patient interactions, and dispensing records.
- Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, storage and temperature conditions, controlled substance accountability, and recall handling.
- Partner with operations and technology teams to troubleshoot automation, refine workflow, and drive measurable improvements in accuracy and throughput.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, reinforcing safety, quality, and productivity standards.
A qualified candidate will have
- A valid pharmacist license in good standing with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Willingness to obtain and maintain additional state licenses as needed to support multi-state dispensing
- Experience in a high-volume, mail order, central fill, or closed-door pharmacy setting (preferred)
- Comfort working with pharmacy automation and production-style workflow metrics
- Strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
