Low Volume Patient Load 1/2 hour to 1 hour patient visits
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical limitations and develop tailored treatment plans that align with medical goals.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care strategies to support ongoing recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and care plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and clinical response.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their treatment options and recovery strategies.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
