Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing environments. In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support facility improvements. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Utilize computer skills to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Lead or participate in team efforts related to facilities upgrades or repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience reading schematics and technical diagrams.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits and panel boxes.
- Proficiency in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures in manufacturing or residential settings.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer skills for work order management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. (Spanish speaking is a plus)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
