Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator / Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our production process! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools, while also handling materials with precision using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, high-quality output, and efficient materials handling in a fast-paced factory environment. Duties
- Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and CAM programming systems to produce precision parts according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Manage fabrication processes including stamping presses, press brake machines, and welding operations to assemble components accurately
- Use forklifts and other material handling tools to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies safely within the manufacturing facility
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD drawings, and technical documents for accurate production setup
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues with Fanuc controls or programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs
- Assist in assembly line tasks and packaging operations to prepare finished goods for shipment while maintaining safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or press brake machines in a factory setting
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated skills in materials handling and warehouse organization
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications confidently
- Familiarity with CNC programming concepts, CAM programming software, Fanuc controls, and PLC systems is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments in manufacturing tasks
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication facility with an emphasis on safety standards and quality assurance
