Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily functions of our hospitality property. Duties
- Lead and supervise hotel staff across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies, budgeting, and revenue management techniques to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with human resources for staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to ensure professional communication with guests and vendors.
- Oversee night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with hospitality standards, safety regulations, and hotel policies while fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry.
- Strong background in hospitality management with comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations including guest services, front desk management, and resort environments.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a collaborative work culture.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions in diverse markets.
- Experience in revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest relations is essential.
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette.
