Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
Skills
- 1 year Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Familiarity with food industry terminology such as food preparation, serving standards, and guest relations
