Overview
We’re looking for an experienced auto bodyman to join our team for ongoing hands-on fabrication and finishing work.
This role goes beyond basic prep — you’ll be working on unique 3D-printed vehicle components that require assembly, surface finishing, and high-quality prep work to achieve a realistic automotive finish.
Responsibilities
- Sanding and surface finishing of 3D-printed parts and panels
- Gluing, assembling, and aligning body components
- Bodywork and surface correction (filling, smoothing, shaping as needed)
- Full paint prep
- Ensuring parts are properly prepped to a high visual standard
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto body work (not entry-level)
- Strong sanding, prep, and finishing skills
- Experience with automotive paint prep workflows
- Comfortable with assembly and hands-on fabrication work
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for surface quality
- Reliable and able to work independently once tasks are assigned
Pay
$1200–1500 per week DOE (depending on experience)
