Friendly, hardworking optometric assistant / optometric technician needed. Experience in the eye care industry is required.
Duties will include:
Technical duties: Automated testing with autorefractor, non contact tonometry, OCT, fundus photos, anterior segment imaging, color vision, and visual field testing
Will assist with Dr. by rooming patients, case history, creating reports, coordinating care with other physicians, and pharmacies.
May also assist in :
Front office - assisting patients in the front, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing all email/text correspondence, coordinating care with surgeons or other specialists, and verifying and obtaining insurance benefits.
Optical Duties - assist patients with eyewear selection, dispensing and adjusting eyewear.. Other duties will include contact lens training.
Friendly, strong customer service skills with the ability to multi task, highly organized, meticulous, efficient, and work quickly in a fast pace environment with the Dr. is necessary . Must be very reliable with excellent attendance. Must be a good team player and work with others very well.
Spanish speaking is a plus! Salary begins at $22 - $26 hour depending on experience in industry, with room for advancement.
Must be able to work 8:15 am - 5:15 pm M-F. No Weekends.
