Medical assistant for podiatry office - responsibilities include patient care, X-ray techniques (training and certification will be provided), electronic medical records charting, sets up, cleans, restocks and prepares examination rooms, care and sterilization of surgical instruments. Complies with using aseptic techniques, correct handling of biohazardous materials and ordering medical supplies. Will need to assist the Doctor in nursing homes- driving to the nursing homes and setting up and assisting with all patients .
Some front office duties will be required, answering phones, making appointments and entering charges and payments when the receptionist is out of the office.
