- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment to identify issues early.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter replacements, and system calibrations to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics and tools like ohmmeters, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, coordinating with vendors or contractors when specialized skills are required.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests during night hours to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and safety checks for compliance purposes.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical knowledge complemented by experience working with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical skills including welding, residential painting, and general repair work.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and schematics for building automation systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members.
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance activities effectively during night shifts.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces.
