H3O Wellness is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in Twin Falls, Idaho. We provide interventional psychiatric medical care, such as medication management, Spravato treatments, TMS and IV ketamine, to our diverse patient population.
You will assist providers and other members of the health care team by performing a variety of patient care procedures within the specific scope of practice, which may include but not limited to:
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients during treatments and prior to appointments
- Observe and document patient self administration of medications
- Collect and maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and progress notes
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the practitioner
- Returning patient calls and messages in a timely manner
- Processing refill requests within clinic guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain positive and collegial environment and professional work ethic
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic technique
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Experience in a clinical outpatient setting is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Mental health experience is a plus
