About MDNI Group
MDNI Group is a premier, vertically integrated real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles, California. We specialize in high-yield multifamily developments, affordable housing, and cutting-edge modular construction solutions.
Our Distinct Edge: Unlike traditional developers who rely entirely on volatile third-party builders, MDNI Group utilizes an in-house construction and land development ecosystem. By controlling the entire asset lifecycle, we significantly mitigate supply chain risks and build more cost-effectively than our competitors. Boasting a proven track record across Greater Los Angeles, we leverage strategic U.S. financing programs to secure favorable terms, lower the capital burden on our partners, and optimize investor returns.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected International Capital Placement Agent / Investor Relations Specialist located outside the United States to introduce non-US accredited investors, international High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), cross-border family offices, and foreign private equity partners to MDNI Group's active development pipeline.
This role is designed for autonomous global professionals who want the security of a baseline structure paired with the massive upside of private equity real estate placements. We offer a flexible compensation structure tailored to your existing practice and international capital-raising volume.
Regulatory Compliance Note: To maintain strict adherence to cross-border securities guidelines (including SEC Regulation S for offshore offerings), all activities and investor solicitations must be directed exclusively at non-US persons residing outside the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- International Capital Sourcing: Proactively leverage your non-US database and offshore acquisition channels to locate qualified investors seeking stable, institutional-grade U.S. dollar-denominated real estate assets.
- Deal Presentation: Educate international prospects on MDNI Group's unique investment thesis, highlighting our vertically integrated construction model, modular velocity advantages, and risk-mitigation strategies.
- The "Warm Handoff": Qualify prospective investor interest and seamlessly introduce them to MDNI Group’s Managing Partners, who will execute technical due diligence, handle foreign capital compliance, and finalize onboarding.
- Relationship Management: Act as a high-integrity bridge between your international network and our US corporate office, maintaining smooth communication throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- International Footprint: Must be permanently based outside the United States and targeting an investor base composed strictly of non-US citizens/entities.
- Local Regulatory Licensure & Compliance: Where applicable by law in your home jurisdiction, you must hold the relevant financial services licenses, registrations, or authorizations required to legally market, introduce, or place private real estate securities to investors (e.g., FCA authorization in the UK, BaFin compliance in Germany, MAS licensing in Singapore, or equivalent local regulatory frameworks). Unlicensed or unauthorized activity that violates local country securities laws will result in immediate termination of the contract.
- Established Cross-Border Network: A verifiable, active network of international accredited investors, wealth managers, or family offices with a demonstrated appetite for stable U.S. real estate allocations.
- Self-Discipline: Exceptional professional drive and the ability to operate entirely remotely and autonomously across varying time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. Market Literacy: 3+ years of experience introducing foreign capital specifically to U.S.-based real estate syndications, ground-up developments, or private equity placement.
- Financial Fluency: Strong command of cross-border financial concepts, currency considerations, and real estate financial metrics (capital stacks, IRR, equity multiples, and cap rates).
- Cross-Border Regulatory Familiarity: Working knowledge of SEC Regulation S parameters and anti-money laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding compliance for foreign capital flowing into the United States.
What We Offer
- Flexible Compensation Models: A reliable monthly baseline structure to support pipeline building
- Institutional-Grade Asset Pipeline: Marketable, supply-resistant real estate products in a high-demand market (Los Angeles), driven by highly efficient modular building techniques.
- Full Executive Close Support: You focus entirely on the relationship and introduction. MDNI Group’s Managing Partners provide all necessary international marketing materials, private placement memorandums (PPMs), handle the deep technical pitches, and close the transactions.
- Total Autonomy: Complete schedule flexibility. This role functions perfectly as a complementary asset class for active independent placement agents or international consulting firms.
