Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher's Aide to join our team at New Wonders Discovery Center. In this role, you will support our educators in delivering engaging learning experiences while fostering the development of children in a compassionate and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational opportunities.
- Support children's learning through play-based experiences that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily activities.
- Assist in managing behavior by applying positive reinforcement techniques.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- First aid certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support children's learning needs.
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills.
