Position Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced hygienist who thrives in a relationship-driven, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is fully versed in comprehensive periodontal care for children, adults, and seniors and is committed to providing exceptional clinical outcomes and personalized patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform hourly preventive and non-surgical periodontal care appointments
- Maintain the practice standard of care and clinical excellence
- Ensure each patient receives the highest level of soft and hard tissue care
- Serve as the primary patient educator for oral-systemic health
- Maintain customized patient recare plans
- Reactivate patients through the continuing care system during non-clinical time
- Assist with administrative duties and instrument sterilization as needed
- Accurately document treatment and patient communication using electronic charting systems
- Promote adjunctive services that support oral health and overall wellness
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- 3+ years of dental hygiene experience required
- Periodontal practice experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Dentrix and electronic charting systems
- High level of computer literacy
- Laser training and/or experience with Laser Bacterial Reduction preferred
- Strong understanding of periodontal coding and patient communication including:
- D1110
- D4341
- D4355
- D4910
- Ability to educate patients on treatment recommendations and adjunctive services
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
