Contract Healthcare Recruiter (Full Cycle)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Healthcare Recruiter to support our talent acquisition team with full-cycle recruiting efforts. This role is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting qualified candidates through offer negotiation and onboarding coordination. The ideal candidate will have prior experience recruiting within the healthcare industry and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
This is a contract position requiring a highly organized, proactive recruiter who can quickly build relationships with hiring managers and candidates while delivering an exceptional hiring experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for healthcare positions, including clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and recruitment strategies.
- Create and post compelling job advertisements across multiple job boards and recruiting platforms.
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct reference checks and verify employment history as needed.
- Prepare and extend employment offers while managing offer negotiations.
- Assist with onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and applicant tracking system (ATS) documentation.
- Provide regular recruiting updates and pipeline reports to hiring managers and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and hiring practices.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Previous healthcare industry recruiting experience is required.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of healthcare positions, including clinical and administrative roles preferred.
- Proven success sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and credentialing processes is a plus.
- Experience recruiting in hospitals, physician practices, healthcare systems, or healthcare service organizations.
