Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description:
A private practice in Hoover, AL is seeking a highly motivated individual with Laboratory experience for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in a Physician Office Laboratory, running a urine drug screen analyzer. This is a Part Time position, 2 days per week (flexible day but the same every week), 15 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
* Have earned a minimum of an Associates degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution
* Experience in a Moderate or Complexity Laboratory setting for at least one year
* Must have the ability to work as a team member, with limited supervision as necessary
- Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze samples
- Verify lab results
- Maintain the instrument, reagents and samples
- Review QC & Calibration data (daily/weekly)
- Perform proficiency testing
* Excellent communication with the Laboratory Director
Benefits:
Salary $23-25/hr based on experience
