We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Commercial Delivery Driver to handle pickup and delivery routes, including specialized service to Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB).
Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver for Fresh Clothes, you will be the face of our company on the road. You will be responsible for executing scheduled pickup and delivery routes, handling customer items with care, operating company transport vehicles safely, and ensuring timely service.
This role requires regular access to military facilities; candidates must be able to pass federal security vetting and criminal background checks required for base access.
Key Responsibilities
- Route Execution: Safely operate company vehicles to perform daily pickups and deliveries across designated routes in the Boise/Treasure Valley area and Mountain Home Air Force Base.
- Base Deliveries: Coordinate entry and drop-offs/pickups at Mountain Home AFB following all base security and gate protocols.
- Cargo Handling: Load, transport, and unload bagged laundry, hampers, and commercial textiles efficiently and with high care for quality control.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with commercial contacts, residential clients, and base personnel, providing a positive representation of Fresh Clothes.
- Vehicle & Inventory Care: Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, monitor maintenance needs, and manage accurate delivery logs using company mobile software.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Base Access Eligibility (Mandatory): Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident possessing a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license. Must successfully pass a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) criminal background check and Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) screening conducted by Security Forces for unescorted installation access at Mountain Home AFB.
- Clean Driving Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) over the past 3+ years.
- Physical Capability: Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Proven track record of dependable attendance and strict adherence to route schedules.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps/tablets for route navigation, order scanning, and digital proof of delivery.
Schedule & Hours
- Approximately 25 hours per week (part-time).
- Typical shift hours fall between morning and early afternoon (Monday through Friday), with exact route hours discussed during the interview process.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
