Position Summary
This is a hands-on warehouse and shipping role that also includes OCCASIONAL local deliveries. The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, has a sense of urgency, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in contributing to a team that values craftsmanship, quality, and care. No experience necessary, but must be teachable and willing to learn.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Shipping & Warehouse Support
- Pick, wrap, strap, and ship small package and freight shipments
- Load, unload, organize, and stage products and materials in the warehouse
- Assist with inventory management and general warehouse organization
- Unload containers and store incoming products appropriately
- Inspect, assemble, finish, or pack products as needed
- Support other warehouse and production tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Delivery Responsibilities
- Make local deliveries within the Albuquerque metro area and surrounding locations
- Load and unload items safely and efficiently
- Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
- Full responsibility for company vehicle, including maintaining cleanliness
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Must pass a background check prior to employment
- Experience with shipping, inventory, or warehouse systems is a MUST
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and honest
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work well with a variety of personalities in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Customer service skills for delivery interactions
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a warehouse environment that includes racking systems, conveyor belts, stairs, and inventory areas. Tools and equipment may include sharp instruments, heat guns, forklifts, hot glue, and other machinery related to product production and assembly.
Physical Requirements (ADA)
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual handling of materials. Employees may occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more.
