Part-Time Dementia Companion & Caregiver
Welcome to Irma’s World
Irma is a vibrant woman living with dementia. She’s full of personality and enjoys socializing, good conversation, music, laughter, and comedy. She has a protective nature, a kind heart, and enjoys being around people.
She is mobile, feeds herself independently, and is able to do many daily activities on her own with gentle reminders and supervision. She enjoys feeling included and having someone to talk to throughout the day.
Irma sometimes experiences life through memories from her past, so I’m looking for someone who understands that she’s more than her dementia. She’s still Irma. I want someone who will meet her where she is with patience, compassion, kindness, and respect.
The goal is to help Irma continue living safely at home while maintaining her dignity, independence, and quality of life.
What I’m Looking For
I’m looking for someone who enjoys caring for seniors and understands that caregiving is about building trust and relationships, not just completing tasks.
