American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Florida, requiring conscious sedation and telemetry skills with on-call availability.

Cath Lab unit within a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
-
Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
-
Patient ratio of 1:4 on day shift
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-
On-call required approximately 10–12 days per month, including every other weekend
-
Conscious sedation and telemetry skills are utilized in this role
-
Cerner EMR used; experience preferred
-
No floating outside of scope required

Block scheduling is not available
-
Local candidates are not eligible for this position

Active FL RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
-
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required

Conscious sedation experience required

Telemetry skills required

Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers may be considered if they bring strong, directly relevant Cath Lab experience

Royal blue scrubs required

State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required
