Think Happy Live Healthy is a growing mental health practice providing therapy, psychological testing, and psychiatric services for children, teens, adults, and families. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail oriented Biller and Administrative Support Specialist to support our billing, EHR, and intake processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced healthcare environment, enjoys administrative systems, and understands the importance of accuracy, client care, and confidentiality.
Position Overview
The Biller and Administrative Support Specialist will assist with billing tasks, SimplePractice support, client intake workflows, and general administrative needs. This person will help ensure that client onboarding runs smoothly, billing information is accurate, and administrative processes are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with client intake and onboarding processes
- Monitor completion of required intake paperwork
- Support administrative follow up with new and existing clients
- Help maintain accurate client information in Simple Practice
- Assist with insurance verification and benefit checks when applicable
- Support billing tasks, including reviewing claims, payments, balances, and billing issues
- Help track missing information, incomplete paperwork, and billing concerns
- Communicate with clients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Support clinicians and administrative staff with EHR related questions or workflow issues
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA aligned policies and procedures
- Assist with improving intake, scheduling, and billing workflows as the practice grows
Qualifications
- Prior experience in medical billing, mental health billing, healthcare administration, or client intake preferred
- Experience with SimplePractice strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable using EHR systems, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and online communication tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, warm, and client centered approach
- Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
Preferred Experience
- Mental health practice experience
- Insurance verification experience
- Claims and payment posting experience
- Familiarity with intake paperwork, consent forms, and client portal workflows
- Experience supporting a group practice or multiple clinicians
Schedule
This is a part time position for approximately 20 hours per week. Exact schedule can be discussed, but availability during regular business hours is preferred.
Ideal schedule (4 hours daily)
Compensation
Compensation will be $25 per hour.
