American eagle waste ind., a St Louis based company, has a position available for a full time experienced diesel mechanic. In this position you will be responsible for helping maintain a fleet of rear loaders and roll offs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect and service trucks at prescribed intervals.
- Make all repairs to trucks as necessary for safe operation.
- Complete and maintain records of service, maintenance, costs and inspections.
- Familiar with DOT requirements
- Interact professionally with all personnelRequirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel repair or trailer repair.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Valid Class B driver’s license preferred.
- Must be able to safely operate a class B truck safely on the company lot.
- Must be able to meet the brake inspection requirements stipulated in section 396.25 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Must be able to diagnose mechanical, electrical or other failures.
- Must have own tools.
- ASE certifications a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- High School Diploma.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,400.00 per week
