Job Description:
Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payor guidelines.
Charges patients accurately and timely according to insurance guidelines, as applicable.
Sets up and breaks down work area at the start and end of each shift.
Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and treatment areas daily.
Provides direct and indirect massage services to specific age groups in the Spa and at offsite events and departments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Up to date with industry standards and techniques [Required]
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
- Strong verbal and written communication skills [Required]
- Offers superior customer service to ensure a positive patient experience [Required]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
Work Experience:
- 1+ providing massage therapy in a licensed environment [Preferred]
- 2+ providing massage therapy in a hospital based and/or sports medicine environment. [Preferred]
- Experience in medical massage, neuromuscular, myofascial, reflexology, sports massage, prenatal massage [Preferred]
