We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Designer / Client Advisor to join our San Jose-based team. This role involves meeting with homeowners, developing custom pool and outdoor living concepts, preparing proposals, and guiding clients through the early stages of their project.
This is a client-facing sales role requiring strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple leads using CRM and job management tools.
Compensation
- $18.45 per hour
- 5% commission on signed contracts
- Leads provided
- Paid training and onboarding support
After Training Period:
- Commission-based compensation: 5% per contract
- Commission percentage based on performance and experience
- Continued access to company-generated leads
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals, preferences, and budgets
- Develop conceptual pool and outdoor designs using Pool Studio, Structure Studio, or similar software
- Assist clients with selections for materials, features, and layouts
- Prepare and revise proposals aligned with company standards and construction feasibility
- Maintain accurate client communication and records using Jobber CRM
- Track tasks, follow-ups, and project notes using Jobber
- Coordinate with estimators and project managers as needed
- Maintain professional client relationships throughout the pre-construction phase
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience (construction, home improvement, design, or related industries preferred)
- Strong customer service and consultative sales skills
- Experience with CRM and job management tools (Jobber, or similar)
- Familiarity with pool construction or outdoor living projects is a plus
- Proficiency with Pool Studio or similar design software preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation required
