Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic sonography with specialized expertise in echocardiography procedures. As an Echo Technologist, you will perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, support interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, and contribute to accurate diagnostic evaluations within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, including cardiac catheterization and other minimally invasive interventions.
- Monitor vital signs and physiological data during procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal imaging conditions.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all procedures.
- Utilize advanced sonography equipment to evaluate cardiac anatomy, physiology, and function for diagnostic purposes.
- Support the clinical team by providing accurate diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical findings in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to echocardiography.
Experience:
- Proven experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting, preferably within a Level I or Level II trauma center environment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, sonography principles, and diagnostic evaluation methods related to cardiac health.
- Certification as an Echocardiographer (RDCS or RCS) from an accredited organization is required or highly preferred.

Your Schedule:NO CALL. NO WEEKENDS. You’ll travel between our mobile imaging sites throughout Door County and surrounding areas (Monday–Friday), delivering compassionate, high-quality Echo and vascular imaging services to patients in rural communities. Each day brings a change of scenery, new faces, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact where it’s truly needed most.
