Kaizen Academy is looking for energetic and compassionate people to work with adolescent males in a 24-bed residential treatment center setting. Kaizen Academy works with teenage boys that struggle with problematic sexual behavior. The ideal applicant is self motivated and has a desire and ability to form relationships throughout daily programming and community activities (including mountain biking, snow shoeing, kayaking, fishing, camping, hiking, school tutoring and many other activities). *** Full-time (5 shifts) or Part-time (3-4 shifts). Shifts are various between day and swing shifts (7:00am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-10:30pm). Primarily looking for a combination of day and swing shifts. One weekend shift is required (Friday Swing, Saturday Day or Swing, Sunday Day or Swing)***
Responsibilities:
- Supervise at-risk youth to ensure safety.
- Complete daily documentation for client safety and engagement.
- Promote positive social skills, life skills, and relationship-building.
- Provide one-on-one support to at-risk young people.
- Identify issues that contribute to behavioral problems.
- Provide stability and consistency in relationships with our clients
- Assess the social skills and relationships of kids in need of help.
- Teach basic life skills like conflict management and goal setting.
