Job Title: Engineering Field TechnicianJob Description
The Engineering Field Technician supports the drilling crew in the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment for environmental, geotechnical, construction, and remediation projects. This role assists with site setup, equipment maintenance, sample collection, and general labor duties while learning drilling techniques and field operations.
Responsibilities-
Assist drillers with mobilization, setup, and operation of drilling equipment.

Load, unload, and maintain drilling tools, rods, casing, and support equipment.

Collect soil, groundwater, and rock samples according to project requirements.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work site.

Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

Complete field documentation and support project teams as needed.

Travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Essential Skills-
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Previous construction, drilling, environmental, or labor experience is a plus.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform manual labor tasks.

Comfortable working outside.

Must be able to pass MVR (will be using a work truck for travel).
Work Environment
The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires travel to project sites. Initially, the schedule will be two weeks away followed by one week local. Accommodation in hotels is provided while away, with a per diem of $68 per day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
