Position Summary
High Performance Alloys, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining machining equipment, reading technical drawings, and producing high-quality components to precise specifications. This position plays a critical role in supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and saws.
- CAD/CAM experience
- GD&T experience
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary corrections to ensure product accuracy.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous machining experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
