American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion position in a Hematology and Oncology outpatient clinic setting, requiring at least 1 year of oncology/infusion experience and Chemo/Bio certification.

Outpatient Hematology and Oncology clinic setting with 60 infusion chairs
-
Adult oncology patient population covering all cancer types
-
Average patient census of approximately 125 patients per day
-
Patient ratios never exceed 1:4, depending on pod assignment

Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekend rotation
-
No on-call or callback requirements
-
Facility is closed on holidays; no holiday rotation required

No floating required

EMR: Epic (experience required)

Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and Chemo/Bio certification required

Minimum 1 year of experience in an oncology or infusion setting, with most recent experience within the last year

Proficiency in administration of anti-neoplastic agents, port access, and IV starts
-
Working knowledge of chemotherapy and immunotherapy side effects and management
-
Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy and immunotherapy to adult oncology patients

Multidisciplinary team support includes RNs, LPNs, MAs, MDs, on-site lab, and on-site radiology
-
Orientation includes a general facility orientation (NEO) followed by approximately 1 week of unit-specific orientation

Royal blue scrubs required
