The Construction Runner / Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping our field teams productive by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are delivered where they're needed.
Job Summary
The Construction Runner / Logistics Coordinator supports field operations by picking up and delivering materials, verifying deliveries, organizing inventory, and assisting Project Managers, Foremen, and Superintendents with day-to-day logistics.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, enjoys driving, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver electrical materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to jobsites.
- Coordinate material pickups with suppliers and vendors.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders before leaving supplier locations.
- Inspect materials for shortages, damage, or incorrect items and immediately report discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are delivered to the correct project and organized for field crews.
- Return unused or incorrect materials when authorized.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
- Coordinate equipment pickups, rentals, and returns.
- Deliver permits, project documents, and other construction-related items as needed.
- Keep assigned vehicle clean, organized, and presentable.
- Support Project Managers, Foremen, and Superintendents by handling logistical tasks so they can remain focused on project execution.
Technology & Documentation Expectations
Applicants must be comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving pickup requests through company communication and project management software.
- Using GPS and routing applications to efficiently plan deliveries.
- Photographing receipts, packing slips, and delivered materials.
- Uploading delivery confirmations and supporting documentation.
- Communicating delivery status with Project Managers and field leadership.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, inventory transfers, and material receipts.
Attention to detail and accurate documentation are essential functions of this position.
Vehicle Requirements
This position requires frequent travel between supplier locations, warehouses, and jobsites throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Applicants must have:
- A reliable personal vehicle capable of safely transporting electrical materials, tools, and small equipment.
- A valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current automobile insurance meeting Nevada minimum requirements.
- Willingness to display a removable B&B Electric Inc. vehicle decal while conducting company business.
- Willingness to use their personal vehicle for authorized company deliveries and material pickups.
B&B Electric Inc. reimburses approved fuel and business-related vehicle expenses in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
- Construction, warehouse, delivery, courier, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and material labels.
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Opportunity for Growth
This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow into a full-time Material Coordinator, Warehouse & Fleet Coordinator, or Operations Support Coordinator as B&B Electric continues to expand.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
