Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, responsible for supervising day-to-day plasma center operations to ensure efficient plasma collections
- Provides instructions, conducts meetings and communicates performance expectations
- Advises management of employee relations and escalated donor issues
- In conjunction with Group Leaders, facilitates donor movement throughout the center, minimizing wait and processing time
- Monitors time card reporting procedures, attendance and utilization of overtime
- Conducts error investigations and develop recommendations for process improvement
- Participates with management in recruitment and selection of center operations staff and in providing performance appraisals and feedback
- Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and applicable federal, state and local regulations
- May assist with recruitment and selection of center operation staff and implementation of marketing initiatives to increase donor retention
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred
- Minimum of (1) year supervisory experience required with responsibility for overseeing the activities of others

Occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures and to blood borne pathogens.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas
Required to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs
