Responsibilities
- Safely operate 26ftbox trucks
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques or equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or damage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles with a focus on freight transportation.
- Valid Drivers Liscense.
- Experience operating Box Trucks..
- Knowledge of load securement techniques and cargo handling procedures.
- Ability to drive safely for extended periods on route driving schedules.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for handling certain freight loads.
