Our practice includes business law, litigation, estate planning, probate, real estate and trademarks, and other transactional matters, providing attorneys with the opportunity to develop a broad and well-rounded practice.
About the Position
- We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-sufficient, highly organized and goal-oriented Transactional Associate Attorney to join our close-knit, fast-growing team.
- The ideal candidate will have up to three years of transactional law experience or be a recent law school graduate with a strong interest in developing a career and in transactional law.
- Personality, leadership, character, intelligence, integrity, and a willingness to learn will be paramount considerations.
- This position provides an opportunity to develop a broad transactional practice while working alongside experienced attorneys. The successful candidate will assist with business formations, contract drafting and review, corporate governance, trademarks, transactions, real estate matters, and other transactional legal work.
- Must be familiar with utilizing California Secretary of State websites and other government agencies
Qualifications
- Licensed JD from an ABA-approved law school in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Up to three years of transactional law experience preferred. Exceptional newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to draft contracts, business documents, and other transactional legal documents.
- Ability to manage assigned matters while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with California Superior Court websites
- Experience with Clio, WealthCounsel, WealthDocx, and similar legal software is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with California Secretary of State resources and other government agencies.
Location & Commuting
Located in the beautiful Stevenson Ranch community of Santa Clarita, Odom Law Group offers a professional office environment with free on-site parking, convenient access to interstate 5, and is within commuting distance of many communities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are seeking candidates who have reliable transportation and can consistently commute to our office to support our collaborative, in-person work environment.
Professional Expectations
- Full-time, in office position.
- Core office hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required to meet client needs and court deadlines.
- Attorneys are expected to develop their transactional practice, effectively manage assigned matters, and provide exceptional client service while working under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Salary Range
- $120,000 – $160,000 Annual Salary
- Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, demonstrated litigation skills, leadership potential and overall fit with the firm’s values and long-term vision.
