At The Bartlett Skilled Nursing, our housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. The Housekeeping Aide ensures that resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. This position directly supports resident comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
Schedule 2-10 weekends
Including but not limited to:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, nursing stations, dining areas, and common spaces
Follow established infection control and safety guidelines
Properly handle, store, and dispose of waste and hazardous materials
Replenish supplies such as paper products and soap dispensers
Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
Follow cleaning schedules and complete assignments efficiently
Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30–40 pounds
Ability to push carts and equipment throughout the facility
