Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs and developing personalized care plans to promote health and wellness. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, dietary management, and the ability to supervise the dietary department effectively. The Dietitian will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to implement nutritional interventions that support long-term care and weight loss goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate dietary needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Supervise the dietary department staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Provide education on nutrition, weight loss strategies, and healthy eating habits to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Stay current with advancements in nutrition science and dietary practices to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology related to nutrition and health.
- Proficiency in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with weight loss programs and nutritional interventions for various aliments is a plus.
