Job Overview
We are a trade-services and facilities contractor specializing in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, and small-project work across multiple sites and markets. We deliver services through a trusted network of qualified subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners, coordinated through our operations team.
We are seeking a senior, experienced individual contributor to strengthen client relationships, support multi-site service delivery, and help grow the business within the facilities, corporate real estate, and commercial property sectors.
This is deliberately not a people-management role. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is focused on client relationships, account growth, technical credibility, subcontractor coordination, and service-delivery support — not managing a team of direct reports.
We are looking for a seasoned trade-services professional with strong facilities experience, commercial judgment, technical fluency, and an established network. The right person will understand how institutional facilities clients think, how service work is won and retained, and how to translate client needs into practical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, or small-project solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key client accounts across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, and project scopes.
- Develop, retain, and grow client relationships within corporate real estate, facilities management, property management, and multi-site commercial portfolios.
- Support multi-site service delivery by working closely with operations, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to help ensure service calls, maintenance programs, and small projects stay on track.
- Help identify client needs and shape the right trade-services solution based on practical technical understanding.
- Assist in scoping work, clarifying client expectations, and supporting proposals for service, maintenance, repair, and project opportunities.
- Use industry experience and relationships to help source, evaluate, and hold subcontractors and vendors accountable to performance, quality, safety, and response-time standards.
- Provide commercial insight on pricing, estimating, service quality, vendor performance, and account profitability.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and internal leadership regarding account status, service performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Help convert strong service performance into account retention, expanded scope, and new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Senior experience in facilities services, trade services, corporate real estate, integrated facilities management, or a related multi-site service environment.
- Work history grounded in institutional or commercial facilities management, ideally with exposure to a major facilities provider, national account contractor, corporate real estate platform, or trade-services contractor.
- Genuine understanding of HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing service and maintenance delivery across multi-site or multi-market portfolios.
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to deliver service work and small projects.
- An established network in facilities, property management, corporate real estate, trade services, or commercial service contracting.
- The ability to bring, build, or expand a book of business.
- Comfort working in a contractor environment where service delivery is coordinated through qualified subtrades and vendors.
- Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to build trust with facilities managers, property managers, procurement teams, and corporate decision-makers.
- Practical commercial judgment around pricing, scope, quality, service expectations, vendor performance, and account profitability.
- A seasoned individual contributor who thrives on expertise, relationships, and results — not on managing a team.
- Reliability, integrity, follow-through, and the ability to represent the company professionally with senior clients.
Ideal Background
The ideal candidate may come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Integrated facilities management
- Corporate real estate services
- National or regional facilities services provider
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or MEP service contractor
- Multi-site commercial maintenance provider
- Property management or facilities operations
- Vendor-management or client-account role within a major facilities platform
- Subcontractor management or national account service coordination
Why This Role
This is a strong opportunity for a senior trade-services or facilities professional who wants to use their experience, relationships, technical judgment, and client network without being placed into a traditional people-management role.
You will have the ability to influence client relationships, support growth, shape service solutions, and help expand a contractor that delivers through a strong network of qualified trade partners.
For someone who knows the facilities world, understands the trades, and wants a senior client-facing role with commercial impact, this is a practical and meaningful seat.
