Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless food and beverage service during busy periods or catering events
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and general cashiering skills
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, brewing processes, and beverage presentation techniques
- Proven ability in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty
- Experience in fine dining settings or banquet environments is highly desirable
- Ability to develop creative beverage recipes while maintaining consistency and quality
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory management
- Knowledge of catering setups and banquet service operations is a plus
- Familiarity with food industry standards related to responsible alcohol service and food safety regulations
