The Buyer will be responsible for driving procurement, supplier performance, and Supply Chain Cost Out (Supplier Transition) projects. This role requires strong leadership internally as well as with suppliers, precise order management, and clear communication. The Buyer must manage multiple priorities in a global supply chain.
Duties & Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing: Own an end-to-end procurement process — including RFQ preparation, quote analysis, supplier selection, price and term negotiation, PO placement, and order follow-up — in accordance with internal procedures and in alignment with system demand (ERP), technical drawings, qualified manufacturer listings (QML/QPL), and applicable customer or regulatory documentation.
Delivery Management: Own end-to-end purchase order delivery management, including supplier schedule alignment, expediting, recovery planning, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time fulfillment of production demand.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop, Onboard, and Manage supplier performance following processes and leveraging business reviews, scorecards and other tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for logistics, discrepant material resolution, project needs, documentation requirements.
