Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. Weekend availability is a MUST. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and service of high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all food safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to our guests.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all meals are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings
- Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations and guidelines
- Support catering events by preparing and serving food as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation and presentation
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies
Requirements
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
