We are currently hiring a Regional IT Help Desk Support professional to join our North America team. Based onsite in our Carson, California location, this role will provide hands-on IT support to our local team while also supporting employees and IT needs across the broader North America region. This position will serve as an important point of contact for day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, user assistance, equipment, systems access, and coordination with our regional and global IT teams.
This role is required to be onsite at our Carson, CA location.
Job Summary
The regional IT support is responsible for the local/regional implementation of the Group IT strategy in the assigned sites, in line with business strategy and user needs. They are also responsible for optimally supporting users on operational IT matters, in order to deliver reliable IT services and solutions according to agreed quality, cost and schedule and support the local/regional business(es) in realizing their objectives.
Duties
- Provide end user support for all users in the assigned region in line with the Group Global service desk:
- Centralize all IT incidents and IT requests using common group IT helpdesk tool
- Ensure proper handling of support tickets according to priority
- Keep users informed of the expected resolution time and the priority of the incident or the request
- Escalate where needed and follow-up on escalated tickets
- Assure the follow-up and the closing of the incident and/or request
- User management (creation, termination…)
- Asset management (ordering material, keeping clear records of assets and inventory)
- Write and/or maintain technical and functional documentation for the infrastructure, applications, and other relevant info
- Deliver and implement Group IT solutions in line with the agreed SLA for users located in the assigned sites
- Serve as group IT evangelist by sharing best practices with users and surfacing local feedback to IT regional manager
- Manage IT infrastructure and IT security in regional sales entities
- Actively pursue knowledge of IT best practices within Schréder.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Min. of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar function.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
