Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and laundry rooms to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and minibar items to meet guest needs promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the management team for prompt resolution.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures related to cleanliness standards, security protocols, and guest privacy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred; hotel experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards or custodial management practices is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
